FIDS is The Financial Information & Development Society. Our organization empowers students by giving them access to information and opportunities that will prepare them for careers in and around the financial sector.
Who is FIDS for?
FIDS is for university students who want to increase their knowledge, find out about growth and development opportunities or prepare themselves for work in various finance related industries.
What do we do?
We partner with large financial institutions, established professionals as well as accredited professional bodies that are well recognized in the financial community. These partnerships allow us to provide students with a better understanding of the different career paths available for future finance professionals.
What makes us significant?
The information and opportunities that we provide access to typically extend beyond the academic curriculum. We aim to supplement what is learned through formal educational systems by creating a platform where students may have a better understanding of how and where they may apply what they are currently studying. We look to condense all of this information so that the students we cater to can make informed decisions regarding their futures and have direct access to the organizations that we partner with.
